Oh, look, Saturday again
Aug. 11th, 2012 07:49 pmSo I'm officially "between jobs" for the moment, though I did have an interview on Friday afternoon and do have another one scheduled in a week. It was a more or less voluntary separation on my part. Mostly, I am completely and utterly exhausted, a lot of it due to work-related stress. And I have a gigantic number of projects, everything from cleaning out 6 months email backlog to cleaning over a year's worth of grime out of the house to writing some short stories and novels. I've made some progress on Blood Moon, Silver Moon's sequel, but need to make more. I'm almost done with a new story. I'm almost done with a class proposal. I want to do more of these things. I just need the time and energy to focus on all this stuff, preferably without anyone deliberately attempting to harsh my squee because they think they can.
So on Monday, I get to go in and sign a copy of Silver Moon for the MN Historical Society Library. And I get to go out to lunch with a friend from my last project. And I get to respond to interview questions for the fine folks at Outlook Columbus. I'm hoping to get the class proposal done and out, the first story submitted and forward movement on the novels by Monday evening. Updates to follow.
