GCLS will be in Minneapolis this year for the first time, at the Doubletree South (the hotel formerly known as the Radisson South) on June 13-17th. The Conference focuses on lesbian literature in all genres and there are workshops with Ellen Hart and Jewelle Gomez, panels, readings and the Awards ("Hellebore and Rue" is a finalist, just saying :-). It's been an interesting and fun time when I've gone before and I'm sure this year will follow in that tradition. You can register for one or more days, buy tshirts, sign up to volunteer, check out the schedule and so forth here - http://www.goldencrown.org/Default.aspx?pageId=1265412
I'll be moderating a fun-filled discussion on lesbian werewolves and shapeshifters on Saturday afternoon, with panelists Jewelle Gomez, Megan Cooper and Carrie Devall.
