Sundry things
Mar. 24th, 2012 11:07 amIn the credit where credit is due department, several folks have asked who did the fab cover for SIlver Moon and I did not have the answer at hand, but now I do: Fred Tovich. He does not appear to have a website but he is out on Linkedin. Great work, Fred! And Alex Jeffers, too, of course. Alex did all the interior design - it has a lovely, readable font and I'm really thrilled about how the book looks.
In other SIlver Moon news, I have an e-arc! Whee! Now to inflict it on the unwary who've already requested it and see if I can drum up some new interest from reviewers.
Some book-related events going on today:
For those of you in the NYC area - The Rainbow Book Fair. Lots of vendor, readings, panels and good stuff. Lethe Press has a table there. Stop by and say hi.
For those of you in the Twin Cities area - The Bloomington Writer's Festival and Bookfair. MNSpec (MN Speculative Fiction Writers) have a table, staffed by the wonderful Michael and Sherry Merriam, and they are selling books, including Hellebore and Rue and A Day at the Inn, A Night at the Palace and Other Stories. I believe author Dana Baird will also be at the table, so you can pick up some good YA too. At any rate, a good time to be had supporting local authors and presses.
