Weekend update
Aug. 21st, 2011 12:42 pmI got good news about my mother's living situation, which made it a better weekend than the last few. I also spent yesterday getting an adjustment, then a massage, so not unsurprisingly, I feel like every muscle in my body has been pulled apart. Friday night, we had friends over for soy cheese/veggie/pesto (my homemade) flatbread pizza and salad and the watching of "Revenge of the Musketeers," which has moments.
Last night, we went to the Riverview Theater to catch Bridesmaids. We went in without expectations and had a fine time; it's a pretty funny movie on the crude end of the scale. We were still laughing about some of the scenes this morning, which is a good sign. From there, it was off to the Riv Wine Bar for tea and mousse and conversation.
This morning, we hit the Kingfield Farmer's Market so I could get fixings for making up a big batch of spaghetti sauce. This will join Wednesday's night mango chutney canning extravaganza on our food storage shelves. I'm hoping to get in 1000 words or so on the new novel in progress as well as a draft of a new class proposal for The Loft. Wish me luck!
