Upcoming reading and sundries
Jul. 13th, 2011 03:27 pmC.M. Harris and I will be reading from our new and forthcoming work at True Colors Bookstore at 47th and Chicago in Minneapolis at 2PM on 7/16. In my case, I'll be reading from Hellebore and Rue and from
some of the historical stories in my nearly completed fantasy and historical short fiction collection "A Day at the Inn, A Night at the Palace and Other Stories." In Michele's case, she'll be reading from
her terrific historical novels "Enter Oblivion" (Casparian Press) and "Children of Mother Glory" (Spinsters Ink).
She's doing some really interesting writing and I heartily recommend checking it out. Preferably by coming to our reading and encouraging friends to do so as well.

Yes, the Tea Party is after your birth control. 9 or 10 months ago would have been an awesome time to pay attention but we all know how that turned out. The nineteenth century had corsets and goggles but was not really the best time to be a woman or a person of color or queer or poor...just a thought.
