Odds and ends
Jan. 15th, 2011 10:07 amFirst and foremost, happy 17th anniversary to my gal! We had our first date (at a U. of Iowa women's basketball game, for those tracking) 17 years ago today. :-D
In other news, I got a recent email from an amiable reader and collector of my oeuvre asking for signed bookplates. I did not have these at the time, but do now, thanks to Bookplate Ink.. They look like this, only with my name and new website addy listed and you too can have one or more of your very own. Drop me a line if you're interested.
Apart from that, I'm hoping to get my first agent query out for Silver Moon this weekend, around visits from friends and a lot of errand running. We'll be dropping by the grand opening of Minneapolis' newest indie bookstore, Boneshaker Books, at some point. There'll also be whirlwind trips to the Apple Store (iphone battery died) and the second weekend of Junonia's warehouse sale and other odds and ends. I'm also hoping to get started on my new project, but we'll see how the energy level goes for that. Day job shake-ups continue, of course, as does lack of sleep, but that's what caffeine is for. Onward, upward and all that.
