It has been an interesting week, and not in an awful way, just for variety. At day job hell, my manager has decided to temporarily play human shield, which leaves me free to deal with the completely unrealistic timelines and deliverables and incomprehensible, undocumented software and my team's needs instead of dealing with all of that and some phenomenally difficult personalities on top of it all. It's surprising how much that helps. So we'll see how it goes.

Tuesday, I was down at True Colors Bookstore for the new erotic reading series, "I Like to Listen." Tinder James did a fine reading from her anthology, Surprise and Thomasina Kundalini gave an entertaining history of her experiences editing the adult services newspaper The Metropolitan Review.
The series is hosted by Bunny Sparber and takes place on the first Tuesday of the month from 7-9PM. In addition to the featured readers, the host is looking to have an open mic as part of each month's reading. If you're in the Twin Cities or passing through and want to read, ping me and I'll put you in touch with the reading host. And I'll be reading there on Tuesday, December 7th. :-)

Thursday, I was on
Readings in Lesbian and Bi Women's Fiction with JoSelle Vanderhooft talking about our new anthology, Hellebore and Rue (due out REAL SOON NOW from Drollerie Press) and our collaboration on the project with host Lara Zielinsky. You can listen to the podcast via the Web, iTunes, etc. If you've ever wondered what editors think about while editing anthologies, this may dispel some of those questions.

Last night was spent starting to enter the revisions to Moon while watching Monk. Interesting show. And I still like my novel, even on the umpteenth go round. Next up, more revision, more work around the house and prepping for Women's Week in Ptown next week.
