This coming Saturday (the 7th) at 4PM, I'll be doing an event at True Colors Bookstore in Minneapolis. "Love, Romance, Sex and Erotica!" will be a panel and reading featuring Lori Lake, Jessie Chandler, Pat Cronin and myself. We'll be doing some talking, some Q&A and a short readings from Women in Uniform, the new anthology from Regal Crest which features stories by all of us. I hear there'll be munchies, too. :-)
New story out! "Reunion at St. Mary's" in the new anthology from Cleis Press: Lesbian Lust, edited by the fab Sacchi Green. Catholic school. Girl's field hockey team. Need I say more?

For local Twin Citians, Dan Odegard, former owner of Odegard's Books, is quite ill with Multiple Myeloma. There'll be a benefit on Tuesday, April 10th at the Landmark Center in St. Paul, starting at 6:30. For more details, check out 1crowdedhour's note here.
And finally, wow. Proposition Hate takes a major hit. It's not all over yet, of course, though I suspect the Massachusetts DOMA ruling is more likely to hit the Supremes. I find myself remembering one of the Supremes better days: from the ruling against Colorado's draconian Amendment 2, overturned back in 1996 - "A State cannot so deem a class of persons a stranger to its laws." (Justice Kennedy) and hope for good things. Makes me tear up every time. And now I've got another one: "The evidence shows conclusively that Proposition 8 enacts, without reason, a private moral view that same-sex couples are inferior to opposite-sex couples." (Judge Vaughn, Proposition 8 ruling).
This is a damn good day.
