May I just say that...

I love it when writers whose work I admire turn out to be swell human beings too? The HelpVera auction is going smashingly and people are doing good stuff. And I just acquired a signed copy of Vonda McIntyre's terrific The Moon and the Sun. Am filled with general feeling of warm fuzziness and good will toward sf fans and all the other fine folks who worked on this. Go bid some more, there's terrific stuff still awaiting purchase.

Speaking of which, my talented and charming (and single!) publisher, Mr. Steve Berman of Lethe Press, has seen fit to nominate Haunted Hearths and Sapphic Shades: Lesbian Ghost Stories for a 2008 Lambda Literary Award. Everyone think happy winning thoughts. :-)
