Looks like I just acquired me an Orson Scott Card book over at![[profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
livelongnmarry. All in a good cause and I'll end up donating it to something else eventually. I loved the whole auction idea - it's been a lot of fun seeing what people could come up with. Looks like it cleared $10k this morning and will be higher by the time everything is done rolling in. Huzzah! :-D
Apart from that -
Finished a draft of a story on Sunday. Yay!
Met with the new owner of Amazon Books and things look promising. More on that when there's something specific to say.
Started filling out paperwork and getting slightly organized to send my papers off to the University of Northern Illinois. This is an exciting new development - I'm being collected! And archived. And available for research, once I get stuff to them and they get it cataloged. I'll provide links and such when we get things a bit further along.
Off to work now. Exciting days of 8 hour long meetings this week. Yippee.
