or almost. Finally, finally finished a full and nearly complete draft of "Silver Moon," my menopausal lesbian werewolf novellete that I've been toiling over for months now for a very patient editor (hi Joselle :-). I have no idea why this story took so long--well, apart from putting out a different book, writing a bunch of other things and having an insane schedule--it's been about 9 months from start to finish. I've written 20k in six to eight weeks under deadline but this story has been a marathon. I do love it though and I'm really pleased with how it turned out. This sensation will hopefully last through rewrites and edits.
And why menopausal werewolves, you ask? Why not? I say. Why should the kids have all the fun? :-)

Oh yeah, and in nonwerewolf news, I got shot down for Best Lesbian Erotica this year but made it into Best Lesbian Romance, barring last minute changes. That'll be my new story "Purple Thumb" so I'm quite pleased about that.

Now to go finish prepping for the workshop and reading next weekend (see previous post).
