Fun in chiropractic land...

Chiropractor pokes shoulder. Makes unhappy noises followed by portentous "Oh."
Catherine gnaws on edge of table and tries not to shriek. Chiropractor makes heroic effort to adjust. Insert more table gnawing. She says, "This is going to get uncomfortable." Catherine: "Like that 'Xena' episode where she runs into the cave wall to put her shoulder back in?" Chiro: "Yes, a bit like that." Catherine bites out chunk of table and recognizes that the warrior princess lifestyle may not be for her.
