May. 26th, 2008 09:30 pmJust got home a little bit ago and we're both healthy so far. Fingers crossed. I'll post more coherent stuff later but wanted to extend my thanks to the folks who worked on the Lethe Press party and made it work.
The Heroes of the Revolution:
My beloved, who bartended and hauled huge amounts of stuff about as well as doing tons of other work.

sacchig who bartended, hauled, put up posters and did an excellent reading on top of all that.
mecooper who did setup and cleanup and countless other things, despite the lateness of the hour.:-)
mr_bad_example who was lord of heavy lifting, ice fetching and sundry other tasks.
seanmmurphy who assisted in setup, wine opening, bringing folks in and hauling of furniture, as well as sage advice.
Also our pal Jan who helped with set up.
ceciliatan and lj user = "oracne"> for reading from Periphery.
Ben and Steph and James and Sarah and their crew who helped the place look "lived in" and kept things lively.
Various and sundry other pleasant folks who stopped by over the course of the evening.
Off to go unpack now.
