So 3 days of chronic pain, which is not so fun, especially not when the acupuncture needles become one with the sore spots as they did last night. BUT 2 acceptances from the same place today ("Tales of the Unanticipated") - one story, one interview, to be published a year apart and a nice note from someone using one of my (nonsmut) stories for her writing class wanting to know what else I did. :-)
And yesterday, a lovely note from someone who really liked Crave and is eager to review Haunted Hearths on her awesome women and horror site (http://www.pretty-scary.net/).
Very, very pleased about all of it. Especially about the story acceptance, Lovecraftian cat horror spoofs with lesbian characters being generally a really hard sell. I know it's hard to believe.
Off to go limp through yardwork in the pretty, pretty outdoors and hope that it makes things less hurty by using new muscle groups. 'Cos that always works!
