Nothing says fun like 17+ people...
May. 3rd, 2008 09:46 amfor Mayday brunch tomorrow morning. In our little stoveless nonchild-proofed house. That's 17 including several lively toddlers, plus 3 or 4 maybes, which will make it 20 or so. Good times ahead. :-)
Got Jessie King's "Kirkudbright" book in the mail from Scotland yesterday. So very, very pretty (it's a replica of the first edition, put out by the local museum). Very pleased. It came with a note as to why it was a bit late; they'd gotten bogged down with orders and "Fiona was covered in tape and bubble wrap like a wee wrappy thing."
I have a vision of a sort of forest spirit with very long rootlike fingers, which I'm sure Fiona bears no resemblance to. But it makes me happy.:-)
Off to go clean now before
evilroygato gets here from Iowa and we head out to the Living Greenexpo.
