Crud-free!
Jan. 23rd, 2008 08:08 pmWell, almost. Day job teetering on the seriously sucky but did another 500 words on new story last night so feeling better about life on the whole.
I also went to a really cool art opening last weekend at the Susan Hensel Gallery on Cedar Ave. Karen Hamner does fun artist books and installations; the current one is "Celestial Navigation" and it deals with star maps (the sky kind, not the home kind). She has an amazing body of work (http://www.karenhanmer.com/gallery/), including a book composed of punch cards called 'Big Blue.' She asked a bunch of developers who worked with her husband what they found beautiful about coding; the punch cards actually spell out their answers. We bought a copy, which we are eagerly awaiting.
