'Crave' is out!

My new book, 'Crave: Tales of Lust, Love and Longing' has been unleashed upon the world, thanks to the efforts of Lethe Press. :-)))
The book looks lovely and has apparently already sold out at one distributor, which is pretty good considering that it's only existed for a few days. I'll post more later, including a cover and all; right now, I'm spending some time wrestling with my (nonerotic) alternate Elizabethean story for an end of May deadline. But doing happy dance at the same time.

Short version: it includes 15 stories, most of them new and dredged out of my scary brain at some point last year. The stories range from cyberpunk to horror to contemporary leather romance and the joys of public sex. They are funny, sad, sexy and pretty much run the gamut of anything I haven't written about in my previous collection. No vampires or cross-dressing Elvises, for example. Instead there are werewolves, a succubus, fetishists and hot sex with your new boss.

Other than this, I spent a lovely afternoon with Elise yesterday and hatched a plot to do interesting things at WisCon.
Shakepeare/Marlowe alternate history is progressing reasonably well. And next weekend is May Day. There is nothing cooler than Minneapolis' May Day celebration. Really. If you live in the Cities and you haven't been, you're seriously missing out. Parade - 1 PMish down Bloomington Avenue, followed by big Welcome the Sun Back ritual in Powderhorn Park.
