Pinched nerves and other adventures...

somewhere in the course of yesterday's writing and very fun expotitions with the fun and entertaining elizabethth, I appear to have pinched a nerve in my bad hip. No sleep last night since I woke up every time I rolled over and not much to show for it today since I can't sit for very long. Or lie down. Amazing how much something like this hurts. :-(((

It was fun up until then though. If you haven't seen "Sweet Land" (http://www.sweetlandmovie.com/), go see it. It's a lovely, beautifully done film that does a nice job of reminding those of us inclined to forget that most of our ancestors emigrated here within recent memory and they weren't all welcomed with open arms.
And if you're local to the Twin Cities, the monthly women's jam at the Blue Fox in Arden Hills is a good time (3rd Sunday of the month, starts at 7:30). It's been a while since I've been in a bar where everyone could sing along along to Joan Jett covers. :-)

And my book cover pdf showed up today (I'll post it as soon as I resolve my Photoshop problems) and it is gorgeous! I feel so lucky to have gotten great artwork on both of my books. :-)))

Three days until I'm in Asheville hanging out with wonderful girlfriend. Hopefully I'll be sleeping and sitting by then. :-(
