The week in review...

Jana's back after being gone two whole months! Catherine does happy dance! You can check out what she's been working on at her website -http://westernslopebindery.com/_wsn/page6.html.
I love 'Jekyll' - it's so wonderfully creepy.
May Day was a joy as always. Many fun people descended on our tiny little home for brunch, bringing with them numerous yummy things.
elisem,
mr_bad_example, and a number of other cool folks, kids in tow chowed down and chatted for a few hours. Then it was off to the May Day Parade and Ritual despite the inclement weather. As it happened, it cleared up and we got to enjoy the usual chaotic charm of our favorite South Minneapolis quasi-pagan celebration. Big puppets, everyone's new tattoos, the welcoming of the sun (big paper mache dealie rowed across Powderhorn Lake on a bunch of canoes), wandering through the park - all good. It's officially Spring in the Minneapple.
In other news, 'Crave' has buzz! I'm told that a new review written by the fabulous Jean Roberta will be appearing on June 1 at the new review site Erotica Revealed (http://www.eroticarevealed.com/index.html). And the wonderful reviewer Passionate Reader says very, very nice things about it on Amazon.com

I'm off to New Orleans in a few days for Saints and Sinners (http://www.sasfest.org/). This will be my first year attending this popular GLBT writer's event and I'm very excited about it. Looks like I'll get to meet some folks I've been wanting to meet for a while now so I'm expecting a good time all around.
Then it's off to WisCon (I'll post my schedule when I get back). We've got an extra event this year - the beauteous and tremendously talented
elisem asked me to throw together some 'entertainment' for her Saturday night Haiku Earring party so I asked
misia and
pantryslut to participate in a midnight erotica reading as part of the festivities. C'mon by! The three of us live huge distances apart so we seldom if ever get to read together. And there'll be shinies. :-)
