2011: Minneapolis, MN - one house, one wife, two cats
2001: Minneapolis, MN - one house, one partner (now wife), two other cats (gone to Kitty Heaven)
1991: Iowa City, IA - one apartment, two soon to be ex-roommates
1981: St. Louis, MO - the dorms at Washington University, one roommate
1971: Brooklyn, NY - split time between my mother's apartment with my mother and one cat and my grandmother's house with my grandmother and her sibling (and imaginary cats. Long story).
