but probably should. The new back door lock stopped working a few days back, in the sense of locking permanently and possibly forever. I came home from grocery shopping today, went in the front door, opened the back door from the inside and brought in the groceries. Then for reasons unknown, except that we've been playing with it for days, I tried unlocking it from the outside. With one of the other keys which is now very, very stick in the lock. The lock is now awaiting the reappearance of Jana for bimonthly discussion on the topic "Why yes, my wife loves to take things apart. It's the putting back together she's not so great at."

Am killing time until a. she gets home and b. our dinner guests arrive by working on my agent query and doing updates to Silver Moon while listening to P!nk and the Dropkick Murphys.
