Mostly of my brain and attention span. I've been working 6 days a week and OT every day to try and get part of one of my IT projects out the door - I'm amazed at how tired I am. No end in sight yet as I'm told they want to extend me through next year. Which, on the one hand, "Aargh! No!," and on the other, "But I have a fighting chance of getting us out of the bulk of our debts." And so it goes. The worst of it is that since I'm trying to work on 8 or 9 parts of the project at once, I never feel like I understand things as well as I want to. Well, that and the unrelenting stress. Looking forward to a few days off next weekend at least.
On the writing front, I'm poking away at a couple of the novels in progress and am starting to line up projects for next year. I've got a few things I'm tweaking on "Moon" before tackling next steps. No word from the publisher on when "Hellebore" will be out but seeing as it just needs final going over and formatting I don't anticipate that it will be too much longer.
Mostly I'm reading and watching things, when I have time. Watching: ll the available episodes of "Wolf Lake" (Graham Greene rules!). "Tangled" (adequate Disney). "The Tempest" (today). Reading: Byatt's "Possession." "Passionate Minds." Mitford's "My Village." Harris' "The Children of Mother Glory."
And hoping I start to focus better in a few weeks, once the experiments in sleep deprivation are over with.
