The weekend thus far...

On the heels of the award news, we have an update of the less great variety. It appears that I may have a health problem that will require a chat with a specialist and perhaps a surgical encounter in the nearish future. It should be noted that while this is an unpleasant problem likely to  require medical attention, it is not, as far as I know yet, more dire than that. But it will involve many things I hate - multiple trips to doctors and weird meds and possibly mucking about with my body in ways in which I would prefer it not be mucked around with.
Am completely and thoroughly exhausted and day job stress isn't helping. Meant to spend the weekend being productive, but that's going much, much slower than I hoped. Here's hoping for better things tomorrow.

bleh. i am all used to having to go to the doctor on a regular and frequent basis, but if a person is not used to it it is less fun. if the thing you happen to need is a rheumatologist, i adore mine and am willing to see if i can pull strings to get you in to see her. if you need some other specialist, i have no names.
