New story out!

The endlessly fascinating and fabulous new issue of Farrago's Wainscot is out! It includes my story "Three Views of the Maiden in Peril," along with stories by Nancy Jane Moore, poetry by Kristine Ong Muslim and a host of other fun. Check it out at http://www.farragoswainscot.com/current.html.

More on the rest of my life later. It has been...filled with many ups and downs, to say the least.

I did, and I liked it.
I'd like to find (and read) "Time Well Bent: GLBT Alternate History" one day.

If all goes well, Time Well Bent will be available next October.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it. :-D
And as the editor of TWB notes below, it is due to be released from Lethe Press this fall, hopefully in time for Gaylaxicon. I'm thinking this'll be a good one.

Oh wow, when looking for some of your work I found your biography and saw that you were once a professional archaeologist. I'm so envious and in awe! That's so cool, it's one of my many facinations.

Well, admittedly I did the kind that happens before a construction project goes in by way of cultural resource management so we're talking Texas not Crete here. But I did work on some cool sites and have some interesting times. BTW, often local historical archeaology projects are looking for volunteers so there may be something going on in your area that you could check out.

funny

Funny you should mention that. I am a member of FOAS (The Falls of the Ohio Archeology Society) http://www.falls-society.org/ and we have had some opportunities for digging, washing and marking of artifacts. I have labeled artifacts in the past, but I haven't managed to make the time for the other stuff yet. Before Caesar's Indiana (a "riverboat" gambling casino near here) was built they did some excavation and found a lot of Woodland sites.

Oh cool! I worked on a site near Cahokia, IL back when I first started out. Woodland artifacts are quite nice. :-)
