Sticking a "Plants and Animals Die to Make Room for Your Fat Ass" bumpersticker on your frigging miniature SUV (nonhybrid) does not make you a cool, hip environmentalist. Not even when you stick it up next to the "Be Green" one. It's a car, idiot, and since you're driving it, guess what, you are in fact NOT Green. Certainly not enough to justify being a self-righteous fat phobe and general buffoon.
Observations courtesy of the fat woman driving past you in the car that gets double the gas mileage yours gets, but which she still recognizes as NOT Green.

Catherine is seriously peeved and is now off to go make and can mango chutney and do anthology edits. On recycled paper using the wind-powered electricity to be found coursing through her house. And she'll even compost the chutney detritis. So there.

I've seen that bumper sticker and felt the same way you do, but not as articulately. Jerks will always be with us. A friend and I once let the air out of the back tires of a truck with the bumper sticker "Save the whales, harpoon a fat chick."

That's why I have a Justice-O-Matic 4000 installed on the front of my vehicle. It fires a shell that affixes my own bumper sticker to the vehicle in front of me.

Choices include: "IQ Challenged," "Born Again Asshole," and "Richard For Brains."
