My condolences. They are irreplaceable, every one. We went about two years after our old one (almost 20) died, most of the time was waiting in line for another Russian Blue from a local breeder. I got used to not having mild allergic reactions all the time, and being able to go away for weeks without having to schedule help. That was quite the luxury, but we really missed having a furry bit of chaos around. We ended up getting two brothers, and they keep each other company, and us amused. We find that works slightly better than having two. So watch out!

The first season of True Blood is better than the book, if only because they adapted the story line for the screen. Allan Ball did a very good job of it. We're salivating for season two.
