it was so dull before.
Didn't get the job I interviewed for this week. Day job continues to deteriorate and nothing else on the horizon yet. Bleah.
Good stuff - I'm doing...something, presumably reading, at Patrick's Cabaret in December.
More good stuff - I'm a guest at Gaylaxicon 2009, right here in the Minneapple.
More on both later.
Everything else - Still no writing done this week. Tired, cranky sore and thinking about how restful unemployment will be. Sans insurance, of course. And not so restful for the loved ones I subsidize. Life could suck less right now. Really.

I got some prospects late Friday afternoon then spent today at RenFest with friends so feeling better about life.

Not bad. Some damage to our apartment, but we didn't have any furniture (or books!) damaged, and we had power restored this morning, so we're doing a happy dance. :-)

Oh honey! I forgot you were in Houston (I remembered Texas)! I'm so glad you didn't take much damage and have power on. One of the developers I work with is down your way and said they were still without power as of Thursday morning. :-(
