A lesbian nurse I know has been on stress leave for months because of the reaction of the medical establishment to an incident in which a dr. touched her inappropriately. Not traumatic in itself, and she only asked for an apology, but it set off a firestorm in which her credibility, professionalism and people skills have all been questioned despite all the other women in the field who have told her the same guy (such a healer) treated them the same way. Yecchh.

This is the stuff we were fighting against in the era of disco fever.
When will they ever get it??
