State of the Catherine midweek
The Write On! Radio episode featuring Rachel Gold and myself is available on the website, if you didn't get a chance to listen last night. No idea what we sound like since I haven't listened, fair warning - http://kfai.org/node/30210
Apart from that, it's been a WEEK already. Jana's off teaching a workshop and I'm trying to balance day job with lengthy commute, errands, cats and book publicity. Not sleeping worth a damn, alas, so migraines and exhaustion to contend with as well. Rebecca picked up our giant CSA box last night and dropped it off so I get to figure food processing as well. I've had one friend volunteer to come by and take some of it off our hands. If you're local and you need some greens, ping me and we'll see if we can work something out. In the meantime, drying parsley, making more pesto and canning blueberry/raspberry jam tonight. Then canning green ANC purple beans, which I've never done before.
The goals for the rest of the week, apart from the above and yard maintenance and kitty butt scritches, include working on the 2 guest blog posts that I have due and carving out some relaxation and writing time. Wish me luck on those, please! I'll need it.
